How to use the Burton snowboard boots size chart

To use the Burton snowboard boots size chart above, measure your foot heel to longest toe in centimetres — that number is your Mondo size, the only column based on actual foot length. Read across the row for your US, UK and Euro equivalents, and when two columns disagree, trust Mondo.

Do Burton boots run true to size?

Yes — sized off your Mondo measurement, Burton boots fit true. The common mistake is ordering your sneaker size, which usually runs a half to a full size bigger than your foot. A new boot should feel snug all over, toes in light contact with the liner; liners pack out roughly half a size in your first week on snow, so don't size up.

Is Burton Step On sizing different?

No. Step On boots use exactly the same chart as Burton's lace and BOA boots — get the boot size right first, then match the Step On binding size to it.

What is Mondo sizing?

Mondopoint is your foot length in centimetres — nothing more. Measure both feet standing, late in the day when feet are at their biggest, and size off the longer one. It's the same system ski boots use, which is why it's the most reliable number on any chart.
