Malavita's are freestyle designed to get you a solid binding with a mid-range flex, with awesome features you can throw anything at them. Features such as the heel hammock which stops heel lift and gives you better control. 

The Burton Malavita comes in multiple varieties like; EST to fit only Burton Boards, Re:Flex to fit every other brand of snowboard. They also come with a Winged Hi-Backs option which gives you more leverage for flexing and tweaking.
